On August 23 and 24, the Russian 3×3 Basketball Cup took place in Sirius. Our team arrived in an experimental yet highly competitive lineup, led by Evgenia Frolkina, Olympic silver medalist in 3×3 basketball. She was joined by Viktoriya Cheren, Nadezhda Yazykova, and Yuliya Savukova.

During the group stage, our players faced off against AK Peterburg and Soyuz. The match against the St. Petersburg team ended early with a convincing 21:14 victory for MBA-MGSUT. The game against Soyuz lasted the full 10 minutes but also ended in a win for the red-and-whites, 17:12.

On the second day, MBA-MGSUT started strong, defeating Rostov-YUFU in just over eight minutes, 21:7. The semifinal was a tense battle — IPBL-Desert held the lead for much of the game, but our team managed to secure a 17:14 victory and a spot in the final.

Their opponent in the final was Khimki Power. After a grueling semifinal, the final felt slightly easier — at least on the scoreboard. MBA-MGSUT triumphed 20:11, claiming the Russian 3×3 Cup for the third time in club history.

Our players also earned individual accolades — Yuliya Savukova was named Best Player of the Cup Final, while Evgenia Frolkina was awarded MVP of the Russian 3×3 Cup.
