Andrey was born on June 29, 1991, in Chelyabinsk. He started his professional basketball career with "Lokomotiv-Kuban" and later played for "Khimki". After that, he spent five years with Zenit and was the captain of the team since the 2021-22 season.
In the 2012-13 season, Andrey won the European Сup. Three years later, he won a bronze medal in the Euroleague. In the 2021-22 season, forward helped Zenit win the VTB United League and also won multiple silver and bronze medals in the tournament. Additionally, this season, he was the winner of the Russian Cup and has two victories in the Super Cup.
In 2013, as part of the Russian national team under Vasily Karasev's leadership, Andrey became the winner of the Universiade.
