After an equal start, Uralmash gradually began to gain a lead—MBA was allowed to stay close by fouls from Andrei Lopatin, but two three-pointers in a row from the guests, one of which Garrett Navels converted with a bonus free kick, brought the difference to double digits. Vladislav Trushkin's hit helped get out of it before the end of the first quarter - 16:25.
At the turn of the ten minutes, the red-whites made a 10-2 spurt, forcing the Uralmash bench to use a time-out - after which the Yekaterinburgers responded with their sprint, bringing their handicap to “+12”. By the break, the situation had not changed much - the guests went into the locker room with a double-digit lead.
The roller coaster continued in the third quarter. In 10 minutes, MBA managed to lose the Urals by 15 points, halve the gap, once again roll back to “-10” and return to the distance of two accurate shots. By the end of half an hour of play, there were also two hits between the teams, but already three-pointers - 62:56 in favor of the guests.
The chase continued - by the middle of the final quarter, the teams were separated by only two points, but this did not last long: 5 points from Uralmash in a row, "-7" for MBA and a time-out from Vasily Karasev. Unfortunately, the Muscovites were never able to catch up with their opponents. Daniil Kasatkin put an end to the match, but this only reduced the difference. Final score - 78:81.
