The club focuses on graduates of Moscow sports schools—thus, as the top tier of the Moscow basketball system, it provides young players with a pathway into professional sports.
In addition, the club itself is built on the strong foundation of leading metropolitan sports schools with rich traditions and achievements, which is undoubtedly a great advantage for a young organization.
MBA develops both men’s and women’s divisions, which is rare for modern Russian clubs. However, both the Moscow Basketball Federation and the club consider it important to support and grow both направления.
The club’s management is also unique in its own way, as it includes both representatives of professional sports and people who have come from the amateur basketball community—demonstrating that the path to the world of professional sports is open to everyone.
Today, PBC MBA consists of nearly 100 people—players, coaches, and administrative staff.
